When it comes to real estate, I consider myself to be one of the elite agents who is genuinely passionate about serving my clients. I have been involved in real estate since I was a teenager helping my father with his rental properties in New York State, although I have come full circle in my endeavors. My initial career was in the field of criminal justice, where I spent ten years as a parole officer before deciding that I wanted to get back to what I truly enjoyed. Although I took pleasure in the parole field, I was often teased for being more of a “social worker” than a law enforcement officer. The truth is, they were right. I was more interested in helping people achieve their goals than punishing them for their actions. So, with faith in hand, I resigned and, within six months, obtained my real estate license, graduating at the top of my class. I also obtained a business certificate from Increase Community Development Corporation in 2003, where I was valedictorian. I now make it my purpose to connect with my clients so that I can best serve their needs. Further adding to this trait is my experience of having gone through a tough time financially when I decided to leave my former career. I was able to save my personal home from foreclosure and have, since that time, developed an area of expertise that combines short sales and lease purchase opportunities, as well as traditional real estate services. I believe in educating people and letting people know that they always have options. This is why my clients return to me for repeat business, and often refer me to their friends and family.
