To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to commend David L. Printup on his outstanding work providing me and my family with an exemplary experience during the process of selling my house. I was truly blessed to have a realtor that was professional, very knowledgeable about the real estate industry and the best practices relating to the economy, as well as very personable and caring. I can’t say enough positive things about the experience I had in selling my house.

Throughout the process, David educated me on all facets of the real estate market so that I could make practical decisions as to selling my house. I bought my house in November 2005 and was among the many who truly could not afford it. Even though my house was not worth the amount I owed on it, I had many showings because of David’s marketing efforts and excellent advice on how to stage my house for the perfect buyer. After being thoroughly educated on my options, I decided to do a short sale on my house and ask the bank to take less than what I owed and settle.

After many hours of research, I was quite surprised to find out that there are so many realtors that are unfamiliar with the short sale process! Even though there are not many success stories on short sales, David was able to provide me with many up to date articles that explained the advantages and disadvantages of the short sale process. Through research, I’ve learned that many sellers have had to pay back the difference of what they settled for through a promissory loan to sell their house, and others have even had to pay interest on what was loss on their principal amount because of how their realtor presented the short sale package to the bank. (Thanks David for explaining to me the The Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act of 2007!) David has helped me to appreciate that when a short sale is done correctly, the seller is able to sell their house and start over without having your credit adversely affected.

To say the least, David’s profound understanding of the short sale process allowed him to get through all the gate keepers, build an effective relationship with the resolution specialist at my mortgage company and make sure that all of the paperwork was concise and accurately processed. He kept me up to speed during the whole process. I understood everything that was going on. Unlike feeling as if I was working with some high pressured salesman, I had a realtor that was a diligent man that genuinely cared. I would highly recommend David to ANY and EVERYONE. My house is finally sold, off my hands, and I can now start over.

Best of all, a short sale was done on my behalf and I was never late on any of my mortgage payments, or to any other creditor for that matter.

David, thank you so much for all of your efforts, your support, and truly helping me and my family under one of the most stressful times in my life.
